I'm generally a pretty organized person. Generally. But I have to admit I'm not always completely on top of cataloging and posting every food picture that goes onto my hard drive, which is why I'll occasionally be flipping through folders and get stopped in my tracks by a tiny thumbnail picture I can't identify and even when I click into the photo to make it bigger I still stare at it and ask: what the heck is that?
In this case, my best guess is, it's some kind of potato salad.
But what kind of potato salad? Why did I make it? (I don't like potato salad, at least not the creamy mayo-y kind, which this appears to be.) What was it for? And most importantly, did it taste good?
I suppose we'll never know.
At least you found it among your pictures and not in the back of the fridge as sometimes happens to me. Those items usually make a hasty trip to the trash can, container and all.

Oh, yeah, that happens sometimes too. If things have gone really far south I'll either sacrifice the container or put it in the freezer to solidify before trying to separate the two. Ewww.
