Had a fabulous time in Boston this weekend, even if they did have an unprecedented water emergency! A burst pipe led to a boil order, and of course since we couldn't boil water in our hotel, we switched to bottles for Sunday. Mostly I ate hotel food, which is nothing to get excited about, but I did have a delicious cheese plate with blue, aged cheddar, and one of my favorites, a smoked Spanish cheese called idiazabal.
What's up this week? Well, it'll be more writing-intensive than food-intensive here on the blog, though I do have some brownies in the oven, and for book club tomorrow I'm going back to one of my salad classics, Nigella's fatoush, which has jalapenos and avocados and cilantro and mint and is dressed very simply with olive oil and lime juice. Mmmm, fatoush.
On the writing front, I've got my first regular post up at Writer Unboxed, where I'm now a monthly contributor. You'll find me there the first Monday of every month.

(Short answer, no you don't, but it's more complex than that -- if you're an aspiring writer, do give it a read.)
AU rocks! I got my BA there! Thank you for your MFA article. I want to pursue one online when my kids are older. So far, haven't found an exact MFA.
